It is also being reported through my good friends from one of my favorite websites doowopcafe.net that lead singer Nick Santo of The Capris has announced that he has disbanded the group after a Las Vegas show on November 18th. "The Cop From Queens" whose incredible leads on songs such as "There's A Moon Out Tonight", and yours truly's MOST favorite "Morse Code of Love" has made public that he is suffering from asbestos related cancer, and will no longer perform.
I'm sure all South Florida doo wop lovers send POSITIVE thoughts and get well wishes to Nick.
